Aerodynamics in every panel
Every panel of the Zephyros is designed for the position you spend most of your time in: low on your aerobars, arms stretched forward. Smooth fabric sits where the wind hits you head-on. Where the air breaks away from your body, textured fabric holds on to it for longer. Less drag means you ride faster for the same power, or just as fast with less effort. You'll see it on the clock, and you'll feel it in your legs when you start the run.

FeatherSkin 70 front panel
The front panel of the Zephyros is made from FeatherSkin 70, a smooth fabric weighing just 70 grams per square metre. You barely feel it. In your aero position, this is the part the wind hits first, and the air slides past it undisturbed. With 37% elastane, the fabric also stretches in every direction. You'll find the same fabric on your lower back and in the storage pockets.

AeroBlade-X 140 sleeves
The sleeves of the Zephyros run to just above the elbow and are made from AeroBlade-X 140, a fabric of 140 grams per square metre with fine ribs along its full length. Those ribs keep the airflow close to your arm, so less turbulence forms behind your upper arm. In your aero position, that is exactly where you catch the most wind. The sleeves finish in a clean, flat edge that never digs in. With UPF 50+, they also block at least 98% of UV radiation.

HexaComb 125 back panel
The upper part of the back panel of the Zephyros is made from HexaComb 125, a fabric with a honeycomb pattern. Its open hexagonal structure breathes exceptionally well and gives heat a direct way out. When the sun beats down on your back on the bike, you stay cooler than you'd expect. At the same time, the structure helps guide the air tightly over your back, without the fabric billowing.

AirLine side panels and underarms
The side panels of the Zephyros and the areas under your arms are made from AirLine, a wafer-thin fabric with fine horizontal ribs. You can almost see through it. These are the places where heat builds up first, and this fabric lets it out just as quickly. The ribs hold the fabric a fraction away from your skin, so the air flows past unhindered. AirLine is also so supple that it moves freely with your shoulders on every swim stroke.

Aegis 160 shorts from a single panel
The shorts of the Zephyros are made from Aegis 160, named after the shield of the gods. At 160 grams per square metre with 45% elastane, it is the most robust fabric in the trisuit. The compression supports your thighs, even when they grow heavy in the final kilometres of the run. Yet it feels smooth and cool. Each leg is cut from a single panel with no separate band at the end, and the laser-cut finish lies flat on your thigh. From the outside, you see one clean line from hip to knee.

AtlasGrip
Atlas held the heavens on his shoulders, forever and unshakeable. With a little less weight but just as steadfast, AtlasGrip keeps the legs of the Zephyros in place. Inside each leg sits a band of silicone dots that grips firmly without pulling anywhere. Nothing rides up on the bike, and even with wet legs straight out of the water, everything stays where it belongs.

Immortal Seat for Goddesses
Gods never tired, and neither does the Immortal Seat. In the Zephyros for Goddesses, this Italian chamois is shaped to the female body and made for days in the saddle rather than hours. A multi-layer, high-density core absorbs the pressure exactly where a woman's body rests on the saddle, even when you're perched on the nose. Towards the edges it becomes thinner and more supple, so you barely feel it in the water or on the run. Fine perforations let water drain away immediately and keep it airy, kilometre after kilometre.

Cut for Goddesses
The cut of the Zephyros is also made for Goddesses. The trisuit follows the lines of the female body, with room at the chest and a narrower waist, and every panel is shaped to match. In your aero position, the fabric lies close everywhere, with no fold to catch the wind.

AeroSeal storage pockets
Two AeroSeal storage pockets sit side by side on the lower back of the Zephyros. The opening is hidden beneath a flap of the back panel. You slide your gels and bars underneath, and the flap falls back over them by itself. There is no open edge to catch the wind, and your nutrition simply stays put during the swim.

AeolusLock zip
Aeolus was the keeper of the winds. He sealed them in a leather bag, and as long as it stayed closed, nothing escaped. The AeolusLock zip of the Zephyros works the same way. The YKK zip at the front is tucked away beneath a flap, so no teeth face the wind. Only the zip puller with the 3D wing from the BTTLNS logo sticks out, and you'll find it even with wet hands or at full speed. The lock holds the zip at any height. On the inside, a ZippCover stops the zip from rubbing against your skin, and at the collar the end tucks under a small flap.

Rubber-printed logos
Every logo on the Zephyros is printed in rubber rather than into the fabric. The logos stay sharp, even after many washes, and you can feel them when you run your fingers over them.

Care instructions
Hand wash the Zephyros if you can, or machine wash at a maximum of 30°C. Use a mild detergent and no fabric softener or bleach. Let the trisuit air dry, not in the tumble dryer and not in direct sunlight. It doesn't need ironing, and it isn't meant to be ironed.

Why are the storage pockets of the Zephyros One under a flap?
An open pocket balloons at high speed and can fill with water during the swim. The flap keeps the opening covered, so the pockets lie flat against your back and your nutrition stays inside. That saves drag on the bike and stops you losing a gel along the way.

Which distances is the Zephyros One suitable for?
Any race where you're chasing a time. Over an Olympic distance or a 70.3 you get the most out of the aerodynamics, and over a full distance the ventilating panels and the Immortal Seat really come into their own.
