Three times a day, Talos, the bronze giant who never tired, walked the shores of his island, and nothing escaped his gaze: whatever fell under his watch stayed safe. That is exactly what you need out there. Whether you're on the start line of a race or closing the front door behind you for a long run, your race number has to stay put, your gels need to be within reach and your key has to be somewhere it can't fall out. In a pocket it taps against your leg with every stride, and a loose card is lost before you know it. The Talos 1.0 takes that worry off your hands. It goes every metre with you and guards your race number, your gels and whatever you keep behind the zip, from transition to finish. Your hands stay free, from the first kilometre to the last.

The belt of the Talos has a Lycra zip pocket for everything you don't want to lose on the way: your house key, a card, some cash or a few extra gels. It's too small for a smartphone. The Lycra stretches around whatever you put in and hugs it tightly, so nothing shifts. With the zip closed you lose nothing, even when you're giving everything in the final kilometres.
The belt is 3.8 cm wide and solidly built. A wider belt sits more stably around your waist and spreads the pressure over a larger area. Because it only stretches a little, the zip pocket and your race number stay in place when you pick up the pace, and the Talos stays comfortable even after hours on the go.
The Talos has two cords, each with a toggle. Thread the cords through the holes in your race number and lock them with the toggles. No safety pins needed, and your trisuit stays intact. In T2 you slide the belt from your back to your front in one move, so your number is on the front for the run.
Next to the zip pocket of the Talos are three gel loops. Grab a gel on the go with one hand, without opening the zip. Need more fuel for a long race? Put extra gels in the pocket.
Two reflective stripes run along the zip of the pocket, and there's a reflective patch on the belt as well. If you train early in the morning or late in the evening, they catch the light of headlights and bike lights. That makes you more visible to other traffic when you wear the Talos.
The Talos closes with a flat buckle that lies flush against your body. On both sides of the buckle sits a slider, so you can easily adjust the length between 61 and 82 cm. Set it up once, and after that you click it shut in a second, whether you're in transition or at your front door.
As a race belt, the Talos is made for triathlon. Thanks to the zip pocket it works just as well as a running belt in training: key, card and gels simply come along. From a sprint triathlon to a marathon, and from a recovery run to a long run.
You run your laps. The Talos guards the rest.

How do I attach my race number to the Talos 1.0?
Your race number attaches to the Talos with two cords, each with a toggle. Push each cord through a hole in your number and slide the toggle up until the number sits tight. Ideally you attach it the evening before your race, so on race day all you have to do is put the belt on.
What fits in the zip pocket of the Talos 1.0?
The zip pocket of the Talos holds small items such as your house key, a bank card, a few coins or a couple of extra gels. There's no room for a smartphone. The pocket stretches with whatever you put in, and with the zip closed everything stays in place while you run.
Can I also use the Talos 1.0 as a running belt for training?
Although the Talos is designed as a race belt, the zip pocket makes it work just as well as a running belt. Simply leave the race number off and use the belt to carry your things. The reflective details also make you more visible when you train in the dark.
How many energy gels can I carry?
The Talos has three loops, each holding one gel. On top of that, there's room in the zip pocket for a few extra gels, so you have enough fuel with you on a longer distance too.
What waist size does the Talos 1.0 fit?
You can adjust the Talos between 61 and 82 cm. The belt is sturdy with limited stretch, so it sits tight on a waist of up to approximately 90 cm.
