It's still dusk when you close the front door behind you. Your phone comes along, for your route, your music or that one call if something goes wrong on the way, but in your hand or pocket it only gets in the way. So you stow it in the Hyperion 1.0, the belt named after the titan of light who watched over everything from above. In the same way, it watches over what you carry: your phone sits safely in the neoprene zip pocket, your gels hang within reach and your race number is held firmly in place. And just like its namesake, it brings light to the dusk: reflective details catch the glow of headlights and streetlights, so you're seen. Whether you're starting a race or a long training session, your hands are free and everything you need is close at hand.

Below the belt of the Hyperion hangs a 16 × 10 cm neoprene zip pocket. It fits a smartphone of up to approximately 6.3 inches, even in a case. Not bringing your phone? Then use it for your key, a card or a few gels. The neoprene gives a little and closes snugly around your phone, so it doesn't slide back and forth. With the zip closed everything stays in place, even when you pick up the pace.
A phone weighs more than a key or a gel, and you notice that with a belt that gives too much. That's why the belt of the Hyperion is 3.8 cm wide, solidly built and only stretches a little. It spreads the weight over a larger area and stays still around your waist, so the zip pocket doesn't bounce with every stride.
The Hyperion has two cords, each with a toggle. Thread the cords through the holes in your race number and lock them with the toggles, without safety pins and without holes in your trisuit. In T2 you slide the belt from your back to your front in one move, so your number is on the front for the run.
Next to the zip pocket of the Hyperion are three gel loops. Grab a gel on the go with one hand, without opening the zip or taking out your phone.
Two reflective stripes run along the zip of the pocket, the cords are attached to reflective patches and there's reflection on the belt itself too. That way the Hyperion catches the light of headlights and bike lights, and you're more visible to other traffic.
You close the Hyperion with a flat buckle that lies flush against your body. On both sides of the buckle sits a slider, so you can easily adjust the length between 62 and 79 cm. Once it's set, you click it shut in one move.
As a race belt, the Hyperion is made for triathlon and running races. Thanks to the zip pocket for your phone, it's also a full-fledged running belt for your training sessions, from a recovery run around the block to a long run where you follow your route on your phone.
You put in the kilometres. The Hyperion keeps everything with you.

Where do you keep your phone while running?
In your hand or a pocket, a phone mostly gets in the way while running: it bumps against your leg with every stride, or you have to hold it the whole time. In the zip pocket of the Hyperion it sits close to your body, so you barely notice it and your hands are free. It still stays within reach for your route, your music or a call.
Which phone fits in the zip pocket of the Hyperion 1.0?
The zip pocket of the Hyperion measures 16 × 10 cm and fits a smartphone of up to approximately 6.3 inches, even with a case. The neoprene stretches a little, but a larger phone won't fit.
Is the zip pocket of the Hyperion 1.0 waterproof?
The zip pocket of the Hyperion is not waterproof. Neoprene is a dense material that keeps out a bit of splash water and sweat, but in heavy rain moisture can get in. Want to keep your phone completely dry? Put it in a small plastic bag first.
How do I attach my race number to the Hyperion 1.0?
Your race number attaches to the Hyperion with two cords, each with a toggle. Push each cord through a hole in your number and slide the toggle up until the number sits tight. Ideally you attach it the evening before your race, so on race day all you have to do is put the belt on.
What waist size does the Hyperion 1.0 fit?
You can adjust the Hyperion between 62 and 79 cm. The belt is sturdy with limited stretch, so it sits tight on a waist of up to approximately 90 cm.

BTTLNS Talos 1.0 race belt with lycra zip pocket Divine Black
(0326001-010)
Three times a day, Talos, the bronze giant who never tired, walked the shores of his island, and nothing escaped his gaze: whatever fell under his watch stayed safe. That is exactly what you need out there. Whether you're on the start line of a race or closing the front door behind you for a long run, your race number has to stay put, your gels need to be within reach and your key has to be somewhere it can't fall out. In a pocket it taps against your leg with every stride, and a loose card is lost before you know it. The Talos 1.0 takes that worry off your hands. It goes every metre with you and guards your race number, your gels and whatever you keep behind the zip, from transition to finish. Your hands stay free, from the first kilometre to the last.
